It's been a while! - BIG catch up!

Well Hello there!
It's been a while ... 4 months actually. Oops.
So I thought it would be time for a catch up!

Warner Bro Studios - Harry Potter Tour!
After years of wanting to go; I finally got the chance to go up to London to Warner Bro studios! I was defiantly not disappointed! Unfortunately I missed out on seeing it as winter by about a week!
It was so nice to go around and see all the different props and sets! Thank fully the weather was on our side throughout the day, which did help keep the happy vibes up!
If it wasn't for the fact it takes an hour boat journey THEN 2/3 hours travelling up to London I would defiantly go more often to experience the whole scene in different times e.g special events/ winter etc. The pictures I took up there are not my best because the lighting would continuously change throughout the tour; plus I was too excited to see everything to focus on how well the picture was coming out!

Yarns for Ewe
On the 1st November 2016 my mum because the proud owner of her own business! It was a very quick decision that had to be made; but the opportunity was given to her and as the horrible 2015 saying goes "you only live once"
My mum has always wanted to own a wool shop as she is a lover of knitting. So one of her dreams have come true; which makes me so happy for her! It's defiantly not all rainbows and butterflies though! But got to keep positive vibes to keep the business going!
Now because my mum opened a wool shop; I'd thought I'd give this knitting ago. I thought I'd give it up instantly because I wouldn't like it.
Well one scarf the size of me, half completed jumper and an iPad case in the making; I have a feeling  I might have caught the knitting bug...
Can knitting be a full time job with an income? Cause if so - SIGN ME UP!

Hair
Remember my last post about my ever changing hair colour; and that it doesn't matter if your hair doesn't come out right because it can always be fixed?
Yeah ignore that brilliant advice!!!
So; my hair isn't long anymore. Again.
The silver/lavender hair that I originally had was fading out too quickly, So the mix I made the first time; I added a bit more dye to it to try and make it last a lot longer. But it went a lot more of a deep purple than a soft silver. And just like the last time I had purple hair; It went multicoloured and ended up green (again...)
This is how the colour started out. It looks pretty good right! Looks like I'd fade out to a dark grey/back to blonde? Yeah that's what I thought.

This was a couple of weeks after and it was starting to fade to a dark colour. I thought my idea had worked! There was a mixture of dark purples/greys ans a hint of mint/blue.

A month and one of the best snapchat filters later  my hair was going from a nice purple to a green... I still had faith though. Because the green was no where near as bright as the first accident with green hair, I thought I still stood a good chance of getting the blonde back. So I deicded to do a couple of the Vitamin C treatment (This is crushed up Vit C tablets mixed with anti dandruff shampoo) and as you can see in picture below; The top of my hair was going back natural, but my fringe and my dried/dead ends were holding the colour.
So what did I do?

I let it grow out; and cut it all off. As you can see there is a tiny strand of silver/grey hair left in my hair. But the rest it back to normal.
I have never had my hair this short. I thought long hair was annoying; but I can't do anything with my hair this short!
I didn't listen to my mums advice the first time I dyed my hair purple; and it went wrong.
I didn't listen to my own advice the second time I dyed my hair purple and that went wrong too.
So this time I am staying well away for any other hair colour semi-perm that isn't pink!

Seasonal Affective Disorder
This year has got to be one of the better years with my S.A.D I mean I still struggle to leave my house everyday and I hate leaving my bed every morning; but I'm not kicking & screaming and pushing my love ones away! (yet)
I think my mum owning her own business is helping; because It means if I feel like I'm having a good day I can go down the shop and get some retail experience, which is helping my confidence grow. But because the boss is my mum if I am not up for serving customers; but I don't want to be at home on my own I can still be down her shop but behind the counter doing my own thing (aka colouring, playing DS ... or knitting .. (mostly knitting))
Technically the weather in the UK hasn't actually been cold. Occasionally you might need a scarf; but other than that it hasn't really been "S.A.D." Weather. But apparently that's all changing next week with -C temps! oh yipee!! My dad has thankfully changed my light bulb in my bedroom to a daylight bulb which is the same type of bulb found in S.A.D boxes. So this should help when i have them dark days (ha get it, dark days, light bulbs .. yeah I'll shut up now)

I think that's really it for things that has happened. Basically not much has happened because I'm a little hermit that only leaves her home if it involves food.

But I really do want to get back into blogging about seasonal affective disorder, reviews, and every day life stuff!

If anybody does have any requests on what they would like me to write about, please feel free to message me on the comments below or via Twitter

Hope you all had a good Christmas and new year!

Until next time
