Hey guys,
Interesting stuff; I found out a couple of days ago that I have a pretty decent graphics card for a laptop!
The laptop is a HP Pavilion g6 and according to my settings the graphic card I have is an "Intel(R) HD Graphic 4000" which to me is just jargon. But thanks to good old Google I found out I can run pretty decent games like GTAV!
Obviously the graphic content isn't majorly fantastic like it would be on a custom built gaming PC, but for a laptop that was less than £500 2 or 3 years ago, that's not too bad!
My wonderful other half has recently bought himself this massive and amazing gaming PC, which ha go me into wanting to attempt PC gaming. So we loaded my laptop out and found out about the Graphics.
So now here I am all signed up to Steam. I now get to witness these amazing Steam sales! (sorry bank balance)
I don't plan on playing big games like GTAV or Black Ops etc on PC, mainly because I'm not very good at using a keyboard and mouse.. but I want it for older games such as Skyrim or older Lego Games.
I had an old PS3 for this, but preowned PS3 from a buy and sell shop *cough* CEX *cough* didn't go too well. 2 PS3's broke in less than a month, safe to say I didn't go back. But thats a whole other story!
So until I can find more room for a new PS3 and save up for a one and purchase it from a much more reliable shop aka GAME I thought I would give steam games ago!
My laptop isn't steam's biggest fan though. Since I've downloaded Steam, it likes to take it's time to load. Poor thing. keep up!
So if you have Steam, feel free to send me a request! (touee)
Until next time!
xo
